Suffern Central School District board moves into executive session to review litigation and tenure recipients

The Chair of the Suffern Central School District Board of Education opened the Sept. 9, 2025, meeting and moved the board into an executive session to discuss several confidential matters.

The chair said, "This is the regular meeting of the Suffern Central School District Board of Education for Tuesday, 09/09/2025," and then asked for a motion "to go into executive session for the purposes of reviewing with the superintendent of schools and assistant superintendent for business and finance status of pending litigation, reviewing with the superintendent of schools and assistant superintendent for administrative operations and human resources, tenure recipients for the 2025–26 school year."

A motion to enter executive session was made and Mrs. Hodge was identified in the public record as the mover; the transcript records an un-attributed "Second."
