During public comment, a resident asked about the district’s policy for notifying parents after a medical‑exemption denial and whether the district doctor may override a treating physician. The district’s counsel, Greg, declined to address the questions at the public meeting, citing pending litigation: “Respectfully, I’m gonna have the board, decline to answer your comments today,” he said.
The board said the search firm will accept emailed feedback and that board members will not attend meetings so participants can speak freely; all anonymous responses will be provided to the board in compiled form.
