Speakers at the meeting highlighted individual retiree achievements: a 34‑year career in mathematics instruction and coaching; long service in lunchroom and copy‑room operations; special‑education support roles that helped students graduate on time; years as an elementary principal; and other staff who ran programs such as the Ellis Bookstore and supported school logistics. Superintendent Mike Bennett (speaker 2) and multiple presenters praised the retirees’ institutional knowledge, mentorship and impact on students and colleagues.
Board members and attendees gave each retiree a round of applause and thanked them for their dedication. A student representative (Harrison, speaker 5) offered a short tribute on behalf of students.
