The board approved the minutes of the Nov. 18, 2024 meeting (mover recorded on the transcript as Eric Kelly). Trustees then approved the finance reports for the month ending Nov. 30, 2024. The committee on special education recommendations was accepted, followed by approval of the personnel agenda.
The board also approved the districts Health and Welfare Services contracts for the 2024–25 school year, and accepted an application to merge sub-varsity boys swim and dive with Selkirk CSD to add a modified level; participants noted the womens program begins in the fall and will be addressed separately.
Trustees voted to abolish policy 6400 (mail charge policy) and incorporate its elements into policy 6410. Every listed motion on the transcript passed by voice vote; the meeting transcript records "Aye" responses from several members but does not contain a roll-call tally or an exact yes/no count.
