Germantown superintendent lists Veterans Day closure, parent-teacher conference early dismissal and PTSA events

Superintendent Bragg reviewed upcoming dates and events for the Germantown Central School District, including a Veterans Day closure, parent-teacher conference dismissals, PTSA activities and the next Board of Education meeting.
"We hosted our local veterans this week, recognizing those that fought for our country. Thank you to all our veterans," Bragg said, noting that Monday, Nov. 11 will be observed as Veterans Day and the district will be closed.
Bragg also announced that students will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14 for parent-teacher conferences and asked families to mark their calendars. He said the PTSA will hold a meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13, followed by the Board of Education meeting at 6:30 p.m. that evening.
The PTSA book fair is scheduled to run from Friday, Nov. 8 through Friday, Nov. 15. Bragg described the book fair as "a great thing, a great event for our school district" and closed the weekly update with well wishes for the community.
