The Germantown school board approved multiple labor agreements and supplemental memoranda with the Germantown Support Association (GSA) during the meeting.
The board approved a supplemental memorandum of agreement dated Jan. 9, 2026 adding newly recognized job titles and salary schedules to the GSA contract. Chair (speaker 2) moved the resolution and it passed by voice vote after a second and brief discussion.
The board also approved a Jan. 12, 2026 supplemental memorandum addressing compensation for snow removal. The motion passed by voice vote with an abstention noted on the record.
Finally, the board ratified a memorandum of agreement dated Jan. 7, 2026 that extends the parties' collectively negotiated agreement for two years — effective July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028 — and authorized expenditures to implement the economic provisions of the extension.
Board members offered brief thanks to GSA employees for service and noted that talks will resume for the administrative association next. The actions were handled as routine business and approved during the meeting's action section.
