The Dieringer School District board opened the meeting by administering the oath of office to three directors elected in November and then conducted its annual reorganization of board leadership.
Chair Nicole Kent, who called the meeting to order, was reconfirmed to a one‑year term as board chair by voice and roll-call affirmation. Devin Craig was nominated and confirmed to serve a one‑year term as vice chair. The board also noted that WASDA and WIAA representative terms are on a two‑year cycle and will be addressed in December of the next cycle.
The board recognized three students of the month. The chair praised Martin Rodriguez for inclusiveness and leadership, Eileen Gonzalez for perseverance and creativity, and Lillian Oysen for quick engagement after joining the district. Families were invited to take photos and celebrate the honorees.
No controversial governance changes were made; the reorganizational votes passed by aye/voice affirmation as recorded during the meeting.
