The director said some integration glitches occurred during the demo but that once live the tool will enable interactive charts, drill-downs by fund and by school, and easier scenario work for negotiations and budget planning.
Routine fiscal business followed: the board read and approved warrants. The board reader reported accounts payable and payroll disbursements with a cumulative total presented in the transcript as $3,934,430.66; a motion to accept the warrants passed (recorded as 8–0). The board also approved a motion authorizing the superintendent to represent the district at annual VSBA business meetings and related insurance/trust meetings; that motion also carried 8–0 in the transcript.
