Doctor Allen Seibert, the district’s constituent‑services and government‑relations officer, presented a quarterly update Oct. 28 and said the office handled a small number of cases (8 in the third quarter versus 9 in the second) and that most visitors were employees. Seibert described an average resolution time that ranged from 2 to 22 days and said the office seeks to resolve issues close to the source.
Seibert discussed the division’s current five‑year agreement with Navix (EthicsPoint) and said staff are evaluating a migration to Onflow (formerly Let’s Talk by K12 Insight). He said the plan is to run both systems in December and, if the pilot is successful, convert to Onflow in January to gain multilingual support, automated workflows and better case tracking while preserving confidentiality options for anonymous reporters.
Seibert said the office will avoid broad use of generative‑AI chatbots for public contact at the start of any migration, though HR‑only pilots may test automated policy summaries. He said the goal is to improve responsiveness and reduce internal email forwarding while preserving a high level of personal engagement.
The board asked no substantive questions about the report and no board action was required.
