The Milton School District Board of Education heard a staff presentation on the superintendent-evaluation process and agreed to use the Wisconsin Association of School Boards (WASB) online evaluation platform. According to the timeline provided to trustees, board members will receive individual evaluation links on Nov. 11, must complete them by Nov. 17, and the board will meet in closed session on Nov. 24 to review compiled results and to share the final evaluation with the superintendent.
The presenter explained that the process is intended to provide structured feedback and to ensure compliance with board policy 12-40 on evaluation of the district administrator. After the timeline was presented, the board voted to enter closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(c) to discuss employment, promotion, compensation and performance-evaluation data for public employees. The chair noted the board would not return to open session and that no further action items were scheduled for public meeting attendees.
A roll-call was taken for the motion to enter closed session and members answered affirmatively. The meeting then proceeded to closed session; no actions were taken in open session following the vote.
