Both motions were moved and seconded as part of the action items portion of the special meeting; the clerk announced online voting was open for each item and later confirmed the motions carried with all board members voting in favor.
These projects were presented as part of the district's ongoing referendum implementation and are scheduled to begin later this spring or early summer, with bidding and pre-construction steps already in progress for other referendum items.
Project funding: administrators tied both projects to previously approved referendum funding; no additional budget increases were requested at the meeting.
Next steps: the district will proceed with contractor coordination and scheduling; staff said work will be phased to limit classroom or extracurricular disruptions.
