At its open session, the Green Bay Area Public School District board approved routine and administrative items including the consent agenda, the posting of state academic standards, an adjustment to the educational interpreter pay scale, a revised organizational chart and a long-term capital plan.
The consent agenda was moved and approved unanimously. Jeanette read the motion to post student academic standards (mathematics, science, reading and writing, geography and history) in accordance with Wisconsin statutory requirements; the motion carried with all board members voting in favor. The board also approved a new Level 4 pay step for educational interpreters with 10 or more years of service beginning with the 2025–26 school year. A revised organizational chart and the district’s long-term capital plan — a year-by-year expenditure visualization that the board said helps prioritize maintenance and energy/sustainability projects — were also approved unanimously.
Vicky provided historical expense figures for prior superintendent searches (2020: $33,880; 2022: $38,960) during related discussion on procurement. All administrative motions were carried via the district’s online voting system.
