Other donations included a $750 contribution from Columbus Utilities to the Angel Fund, a $5,000 tire balancer from J and L Tire (in-kind), and a $900 gift from the Columbus Football Organization to offset motor-coach costs. Several smaller gifts and in-kind items for ticket booth construction and band/basketball equipment were also listed.
A staff member clarified that a $2,000 entry listed for Mary Gephart was used to pay past registration and school fees—not the Angel Fund—and reported the Angel Fund balance at about $3,000–$4,000 after those transactions. A trustee summed the month: "So that means in January, we had donations of $51,998.77." The board accepted the donations as part of the consent agenda.
The donations will be applied according to donor designations; the board approved the consent agenda that included the donations list.
