Council approves Hidden Creek vacations to allow plat recording and storm pond dedication

The City Council adopted two resolution actions to support final platting of the Hidden Creek third edition development.
Abby, staff presenter, explained the actions are required to allow the developer to replat: one resolution vacates a cul‑de‑sac on Enfield Avenue North and the other vacates a platted drainage and utility easement over Outlot C so the property may be redeveloped and the storm pond dedicated to the city. "So tonight before you is the vacation of Enfield Avenue North and that drainage and utility easement of Hidden Creek Outlot C," Abby said. She told the council that staff had notified affected property owners and that no public comments had been received to date.
The council opened the public hearing and, with no speakers, closed it. Council Member Erickson moved to adopt the resolutions (quoted on the record); the motion carried by voice vote.
Abby said the city will eventually own Outlot C after storm pond construction and dedication are complete. The council’s action allows final platting steps to proceed.
