Pendleton County Board approves resignation, hires and 2025–26 supplemental pay changes

On supplemental pay, the superintendent presented proposed 2025–26 stipends for coaching and for positions employed more than 200 days. Examples recorded in the meeting: assistant cross-country coach $800; middle school wrestling coach $800; middle school golf coach $800; high school cheerleading $2,000 per season; high school assistant cheerleading $1,000; middle school cheerleading $800. For positions employed over 200 days, the child nutrition director was listed at $500 with other long-day positions listed at $5,000. The board approved the changes for the 2025–26 school year by voice vote.
Board members did not request additional public comment during these personnel items. The board completed its personnel business and moved to finance. The next regular meeting was announced for one week later at 5:30 p.m. at the board office.
