The start-time committee (board members and staff) asked administration to schedule short vendor meetings so committee members can pose specific technical questions and confirm final deliverables.

The committee argued the work could produce route optimization savings and provide options for start-time changes, but members cautioned that optimization depends on the quality of underlying rider data and assumptions about maximum potential bus ridership.
Next steps: the district will ask each vendor to clarify exactly what their quoted price includes (route outputs vs. analysis only), provide any additional costs to produce turnkey routes, and participate in focused meetings with the start-time committee.
