Vermilion Local Board approves MOU with teachers association through 2028

The Bruyland/Vermilion Local School Board on Feb. 9 approved a memorandum of understanding with the Vermilion Teachers Association that covers the period Sept. 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028 and addresses articles 12 and 20 of the VTA contract.
The superintendent recommended the MOU during the superintendent’s report; a board member moved to approve, a second was made, and the board approved the MOU by roll call vote, 5–0. The motion was recorded as part of the superintendent’s recommendations.
The MOU and its articles were listed as attachment B in meeting materials; the vote was unanimous.
