Damien Mills, owner of Mills Automotive/Stateline (speaker 8), thanked the district for the long‑standing partnership. The district teacher‑of‑the‑year will be offered a one‑year car lease (choice of three vehicles) from Stateline and the Mills Automotive Group, an engraved award, a $1,500 direct deposit, a weekend at a partner resort, an additional personal leave day, a Josten’s ring to be sized and a gift basket from Founders Federal Credit Union.
Katie Jenkinson of Banks Trail Middle School was named the Fort Mill School District 2025 teacher of the year. Board members and attendees gave the winners a round of applause and the meeting proceeded to the next agenda items.
