Riverview School District board elects leadership, assigns committees in reorganization meeting

The Riverview School District Board of Directors completed its annual reorganization on Dec. 8, electing board leadership, assigning committee roles and approving its 2026 meeting calendar.
During the holdover-members portion of the meeting, the board conducted nominations and a roll-call election for a temporary president and then for the regular board president. The board unanimously approved Bridget Siri as the district’s PSBA (Pennsylvania School Boards Association) legislative representative. The calendar for 2026 meetings was adopted, scheduling regular meetings on Mondays at 7 p.m. and listing the Riverview Junior–Senior High School library as the recommended regular meeting location unless otherwise posted. The administration noted meetings may be held virtually when required by public-health considerations.
