The Maternal Mortality Review Committee approved the minutes from its January meeting and moved into a closed executive session to discuss confidential matters related to maternal deaths, the chair announced at the committee's February meeting.
After roll call and guest introductions, the chair presented the January minutes and asked if there were edits; a member moved to approve the minutes and the motion was seconded and recorded in the transcript. The chair opened the public comment period and noted the committee would not enter into dialogue during comments; no public speakers were recorded.
Later in the meeting the chair asked for a motion to enter executive session "to discuss confidential matters related to maternal deaths, in Connecticut requiring privacy to delivery on the issue." A motion and second were recorded and the committee went into closed session. When business resumed the chair requested a motion to adjourn; a motion to adjourn was moved and seconded and the chair closed the meeting with thanks to participants.
