The council approved a transfer within the 2024 municipal budget and moved to insert two special items of revenue: a $3,000 Greening Union County grant for tree replacement and a $12,000 Kids Recreation Trust Fund grant for recreation equipment such as pickleball nets. Councilman O'Connor said the Greening grant will be used to replace trees throughout the community.
