Rod (public works) read the three bids: “Aqualas Company at $29,997.10, Visisewer at $63,059, Badger Daylight Corporation $109,835,” and said the higher bids were attributed to companies being heavily booked. Trustees asked whether the expense should be budgeted as a sewer-utility operating expense; staff said televising is typically paid by the sewer utility and is accounted for in maintenance costs.
The board awarded the contract to Aqualas on a roll-call vote and asked staff to incorporate the new fees into the village fee schedule at the appropriate time.
