The Bellbrook‑Sugarcreek Local Board of Education on July 11 approved its consent agenda, accepting certificated and support staff hires, resignations, leaves of absence, supplemental duty contracts and substitute appointments for the upcoming school year.
Treasurer Mr. Liming presented the financial report for the month ending June 30, 2024, saying the district "continues to be in good shape financially" despite higher costs for security, agreed‑upon staff negotiations, new positions and increased ESC service costs and noting that state funding has remained flat. The board voted to approve the treasurer's report on roll call.
Under the personnel approvals, the board introduced Jacob Page as a newly approved hire: "Jacob Page is our new music teacher, marching band director," administration said; Page said he was "really excited to be here" and the board welcomed him.
All consent agenda items and personnel approvals on the consent portion of the agenda were approved by motion and roll call.
