Vicky Granowitz moved to approve the nomination and Jovita Dominguez seconded. After a brief public‑comment check that produced no speakers, Chair Nilu Patel called the vote; Patel, Granowitz and Dominguez each voted yes and the recommendation passed unanimously. Melby said, “This will go to full board next month, and they can accept your recommendation.”
The committee’s action is a recommendation only; the full BRN is scheduled to consider the nomination at its upcoming meeting. No amendments or dissent were recorded at the committee level.
