The board also approved overnight educational trips (including a Nov. 8–9 Spanish‑class trip to Chicago for 34 students and two teachers and an IMTS manufacturing trip to Chicago for Eagle Manufacturing students Sept. 8–11), appointed Jim McFall as the high‑school technology coach and Cole Lewis as the TED‑Ed coach, and approved services agreements for physical therapist Paula Lecker and for a blind/low‑vision educator (the transcript shows inconsistent naming for that agreement).
A scope‑of‑work agreement for certified EL instructor Cassie Stratton was brought forward but a trustee identified a calculation error in the packet; the board voted to table that recommendation for correction.
