A resident who described a new online directory for teacher wish lists told the board that adoptaps.com will list classroom and program fundraising campaigns by school site so donors can find and give year-round. "Any teacher that has an online wish list...can register with the website, and we list their fundraisers in a directory all year," the resident said.
The speaker said nearly 30 teachers had registered and that the site separates wish lists by school to make giving easier. Board members responded that posting the directory online would make it accessible to the community.
The announcement was placed in the comments and announcements portion of the meeting; it did not require board action.
