Lance Bicraft, principal and electrical engineer at Ignite Design, described his firm’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing experience and said roughly half of Ignite’s work is in the K‑12 market.
Board members asked about the team’s prior local work and construction‑management relationships. The presenters said they have partnered with Owens & Kimball and other contractors on large renovations and emphasized a long‑term partnership approach: in addition to design, they said they support districts through post‑construction issues in the years after a project is complete.
The board thanked the firms for the introduction; no formal procurement or contract decision was made at the meeting. The presenters said they would provide follow‑up information and the district indicated staff would evaluate next steps and possible site visits.
