Superintendent Gene Caspero thanked Gaggis for her service and invited her to meet with him and Dr. King Dobson to review her packet and the district records line by line. Caspero told the board he would report back on findings and any needed changes; he emphasized the district’s openness to review and resolve any redundancies or gaps.
Board action and confidentiality: because the comments involved student and personnel matters, the board consulted with counsel and decided to move some aspects of the matter into executive session to protect student privacy and personnel due process. Trustees said they would review whether any elements could be discussed publicly after appropriate vetting.
What’s next: administration offered to meet with Gaggis to review her materials and said any personnel or student issues that require action would be handled in executive session and reported out only to the extent permitted by law.
