Separately, the council considered staff’s recommendation to grant a 60-day extension to abate nuisance conditions at 2100 Delaware Avenue. A council member representing the district moved to accept the extension and the motion carried unanimously. The member said the property is in their district and supported the additional time for abatement work.
Both actions were handled during the regular agenda and recorded as routine enforcement items; council members voted verbally in the affirmative on each motion. The council did not provide additional details in the meeting about contractors, exact timelines for demolition, or enforcement costs.
