Mister Morelli, delivering the board administrator's report, told the meeting the district is preparing classrooms and logistics ahead of the Doyle School construction project.
"As my office prepares for the end of the year, I would like to say thank you to all the administrators and staff for their continued help with our new digital payroll time sheet system... Regarding the Doyle construction project, the school has undergone a previous expansion project, and I'm confident that at the end of this new project, we will have a wonderful up to date facility that we all can be proud of and will benefit the students and staff in their new learning environments," Mister Morelli said.
He described operational steps, including packing 19 classrooms into storage as part of preparations for construction and thanked the Borough of Wood-Ridge for assistance with the project.
Board members were reminded to contact the administrator's office if they have questions about the construction project. No formal vote or contract action was taken at the meeting because there was not a quorum.
The report framed the construction project as an ongoing capital-improvement effort and invited board and community questions during the committee-only session.
