Ian Conley, the districts newly appointed treasurer, presented his first financial report to the board and listed tax collection figures and fund statements for the boards review.
Conley said the remaining taxes due were $567,527.79 for 2021-22, $839,869.54 for 2022-23 and $2,079,159.50 for 2023-24, and he said general fund budget status reports and cash balance reports for the months ending Feb. 29 and March 31, 2024, were available for review. "So those are the remaining, taxes due," Conley said while summarizing the items he had submitted for the boards consideration.
Earlier in the meeting, the chair asked for a motion to adopt the superintendents report with pages 43 and 44 added; a motion was seconded and the board voted in favor. The chair announced, "The superintendent report has been passed." The transcript does not show an explicit roll-call vote or a count; the board indicated approval by voice vote.
Other routine business included superintendent and board comments of appreciation to staff and graduates and announcements about upcoming public comment and meeting times. The meeting adjourned after closing remarks.
