District says July water test found a positive result at a cafeteria fountain; source shut off and repaired

Facilities presenter (S10) said the district completed the state-mandated tests in July, found one positive result and shut down the affected fountain. "We did July water testing...we actually got it completed early, and that one tested positive," S10 said, adding that the district followed state directions and took the fixture out of service and began repairs.
Board members asked about notification and signage; one trustee urged a recheck of records and the sign that read "do not drink water." Administration said retesting had been done and that some fixtures (older sinks) were already repaired; they agreed to verify whether signs remained posted and to confirm any outstanding retest results.
