Board approves audits, personnel and surplus list; students present updates

The board accepted the audit committee recommendation and approved the corrective action plan by voice vote.

Student presentations earlier in the agenda included a student newspaper update and a Pride survey rollout (student Kayla noted doubled newspaper membership and asked the community to complete the Pride survey to help shape district strategic planning), a senior capstone proposal transitioning from 20 volunteer hours to a 100-point portfolio with reflective conferences, student council events (winter workshops, spirit week), arts and music highlights and athletics updates.
