Mongan said the high‑school sidewalk near the student parking lot has been completed and middle‑school bathroom updates will be completed soon. The committee discussed a possibly failing motor for the movable gym wall and will seek a targeted repair estimate. High‑school auditorium lighting was described as a major long‑overdue upgrade with preliminary project cost estimates between $100,000 and $200,000; the auditorium manager is advocating upgrades to reduce rented lighting needs.
Other items included ordered indoor and outdoor scoreboards and work on athletic fields (aeration, seeding, fertilizing), the possibility of infusing more smart building management system (BMS) wiring for HVAC controls to improve energy efficiency, and a plan to obtain a Musco quote to replace failing practice‑field lighting.
