Berkshire Local board approves donations, budget amendments and routine personnel actions

The treasurer presented the financial statements for the period ending November 2024 (subject to audit). The board approved donations that included a $25,000 anonymous gift to the district’s educational foundation and a $500 donation from Chris and Sarah Cervenka to the elementary PBIS program. The board also approved financial amendments to increase the capital projects fund by $285,000 and add $9,018.22 to the Global Connections Academy fund. During discussion the chair and other members referenced the capital projects transfer tied to modular classroom work. The amendments passed by roll call.
Superintendent John Stott requested approval of certified and classified personnel actions as listed; the board approved those personnel changes by roll call.
