The Lacey Township Committee moved through a slate of administrative items on Nov. 25, ratifying a collective bargaining agreement with the dispatchers' union, awarding a natural-gas contract and authorizing payment of township bills totaling $1,353,326.57.
At first reading the committee introduced an ordinance amending dispatcher compensation and then approved Resolution 2025-313 to ratify and authorize execution of a collective negotiation agreement with the dispatchers' union (GWU). A recorded roll call followed and the resolution passed.
The committee also voted to award a contract for natural-gas procurement to UGI Energy Services LLC and approved interlocal agreements with Ocean County related to a child-restraint grant and schedule C services. In addition, the governing body authorized a leave of absence for a named employee and approved routine refunds of deposit and maintenance-guarantee funds.
The committee authorized payment of township bills in the amount of $1,353,326.57 by motion and roll call. Committee members did not use the public session to debate major new spending items; votes on the resolutions and contract award were recorded on the public record as affirmative.
The meeting record shows the committee also approved minutes from its Nov. 13 caucus and township meetings and moved to convene an executive session on personnel matters later in the agenda.
