District staff member Linda, who presented a memo included with the agenda, said the district solicited quotes and that K and L submitted the low bid. "We were pleasantly surprised with the results of this bid process," Linda said, noting the work is a prevailing‑wage contract and the contractor reported availability to begin work shortly.
