District operations staff told trustees the district completed more than $8 million in construction projects over the summer and showed photos of roof repairs, classroom renovations and the new Lebanon High School cafeteria serving model.
Operations described the Lacombe roof project—new slope and drainage, sealed electrical conduit, new LED lighting and ventilators—highlighting that the final walk-through confirmed improved airflow and durable finishes. Staff credited the project team and contractors for finishing on time and within budget.
At Lebanon High School crews replaced serving lines and installed a new emergency exit required by code; new furniture was scheduled for delivery the following day. Operations said security upgrades for the new 7 Oak building were wired during construction using ESSER funds and that broader security upgrades will roll out across other schools in 2025 using COPS grant funding.
Trustees complimented the appearance and functionality of the roofing and cafeteria work; students and staff later echoed that the new cafeteria service reduced wait times and improved lunch access. No additional financial actions were taken; operations said staff would report back on remaining work and possible drop-ceiling options at a future date.
