The Cheltenham School District board took time at the Nov. 11 legislative meeting to recognize board president Pamela Henry as she prepares to leave office. Superintendent Dr. Scriven and multiple board members read a resolution that praised Henry’s leadership from 2017 through 2025 and presented a bouquet and a resolution to be entered into the district’s permanent record.
Board members and colleagues spoke personally about mentorship and shared memories from joint service on local community groups. Henry responded briefly, thanked colleagues and family, and said she felt the district would remain in capable hands.
The recognition was followed by routine committee reports and the business portion of the meeting. No formal vote beyond adoption of the appreciation resolution was required.
