District says wireless upgrade nearly complete; insurance-covered restoration followed water damage

The team ran the old and new networks in parallel to avoid downtime during the cutover.
The technology update also covered recent water damage to AV and classroom equipment. An insurance-contracted electronic restoration firm responded, dried and cleaned damp equipment, and documented inventory with district staff. The restoration company recommended replacement of five pieces of equipment that sustained significant moisture: one Epson interactive projector, one wireless access point, one Bose ceiling speaker and two Textron amplifiers. The district will gather quotes and submit purchase orders to the insurer for reimbursement.
The technology team credited staff members who worked off-hours to minimize disruption and said the restored equipment allowed the district to open school on schedule. The committee asked for replacement quotes and confirmation of insurance procedures; the administration said it will return with purchase orders and documentation to support reimbursement.
