The board approved employment offers for multiple positions, including Michael Vanus as Gilbert Elementary School principal effective the first day of the 2024–25 contract year; several classroom hires were also approved for the coming school year.
The board approved non‑bargaining personnel salary recommendations (a 3% adjustment for listed positions) and accepted a donation of professional books from Bill Hill for the staff library at the middle/high school. The board also renewed the district’s memberships in the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB) and the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) for the upcoming year.
