Committee members asked whether a $500,000 cap in a particular request had been reduced from an original amount above $1 million; Kyle confirmed the original request was larger and was later reduced. Members also questioned the recommended cadence for replacing scale houses (the engineer recommended two per year but the agency planned to do one per year because of funding constraints). Kyle clarified timing for the agency’s revised FY26 figures and said he would provide follow-up detail when needed.
Because the committee did not have a quorum, members received the briefing but did not take any formal action.
