Council appoints Zach Farrah to fill Clinton City School Board vacancy

"Zach's two children went through Clinton City Schools," Miss Johnson said, urging the council to consider him for appointment and noting his prior eight years of city council service and involvement with school activities. Farrah was present and offered no additional remarks when asked.
Council moved and seconded the appointment and approved it unanimously by roll call; the appointment is effective immediately through Nov. 30. Council members thanked Farrah and the school board for their ongoing collaboration. Scott Ray, who oversees Clinton City Schools finances, was noted as scheduling a separate fifteen‑minute presentation immediately after adjournment.
