Commissioners approved the extension and amendment (3-0).
- Letter to the Election Board: The board approved sending a letter asking the Election Board to coordinate with emergency management to plan for potential disruptions or intimidation at polling locations and early-voting sites. The item carried no funding and was approved (3-0).
Other items
- ADA and Title VI plans: County legal staff said ADA transition plans and Title VI implementation plans must be adopted and the board scheduled a public hearing for March 12. Staff will post notice and supporting materials on the county website.
- South Rogers rezoning: Planning staff presented Ordinance 26-07 to correct a zoning map error for a 1.01-acre parcel at 3521 South Rogers Street; the planning commission unanimously recommended rezoning to Residential 1. Staff noted potential implications of House Bill 1058 for annexation along former railroad corridors. The item will proceed to a formal hearing before the board.
