Council hears CVBID annual report and confirms levy; downtown events noted

TJ Crossman, chair of the CVBID advisory board, recommended keeping the district boundaries and assessments unchanged for fiscal year 26/27 and described four downtown events funded by CVBID, including the annual Rod Run, Fright Night, Cowboy Christmas and the new K-pop Anime Fest planned for March 7. Council members thanked the CVBID volunteers and voted to close the public hearing and proceed with confirmation proceedings; no majority protest was reported during the hearing.
Council approved the item unanimously with Deputy Mayor O’Donnell absent.
