During regular business the board considered a claim from Carson LLP for $737.50 for services through Jan. 31. Theresa Facinger (S2) moved to approve payment; a second was recorded and the chair called for a vote. “All in favor of paying the claim signified by raising your right hand,” John Myers (president) said, and the motion carried.
The board also reviewed and approved prior meeting minutes with a modification: the earlier minutes had recorded a 4‑to‑1 vote but were corrected to 4‑0 because one member had been absent. Members moved, seconded and approved the amended minutes by voice/hand vote.
On financial reporting, a staff member reported Baker Tilly quoted $20,000 for the standard report the county has used in prior years and said additional analysis about fund disposition at 'end of life' would be billed hourly. Board members debated timing and decided to defer a decision on commissioning expanded Baker Tilly work until after forthcoming legislative action; members planned to revisit the topic at a subsequent meeting.
No further formal actions were recorded at the meeting.
