The resident said the problem began after sewer work and that she has "had them come out, and they sealed the manhole covers with, I think, like a silicone, to try to help with that, but it hasn't helped." She told officials the smell reaches inside her house and that the basement floods, rendering parts of the home unusable; she said the problem has lasted "at least" two to three years.
Staff acknowledged the report and said crews had attempted interim measures.
