Library master‑plan team proposes satellites, improved downtown access and fundraising strategies

Consultants from MSR Design and the Pathway Group presented a progress update on the Rochester Public Library master plan on April 14, asking council for feedback on draft recommendations grouped under identity, operations, leadership and facilities.
Tracy Lesneski (MSR Design) and Holly Yocom (Pathway Group) said their outreach shows the library is well regarded but that the downtown location creates access and parking challenges for some residents.
