The Nixa City Council voted to amend the official zoning map to include roughly 1.2 acres into the Pines Subdivision Planned Unit Development residential district in the 400 block of South Main Street.
Staff explained the change follows a minor subdivision completed in January that added the property to the existing subdivision and that no changes to the approved planning and development documents are proposed other than including the new parcel. "All infrastructure is in place," the planning presenter told the council, and staff recommended approval because the addition conforms to city standards.
No members of the public spoke during the public hearing on this item. The council moved, seconded and approved the ordinance on second reading by roll call.
The council did not propose amendments; the vote was recorded in the minutes.
