The Lexington County School District 3 Board of Trustees unanimously approved the district’s proposed 2025–26 school calendar on second reading at its May 14 regular meeting.
Sonya Bryant and Mackenzie Taylor presented the calendar to the board. Bryant said there had been no changes since the calendar was presented in April and that the administration was available to answer questions. After a board member moved and a second was given, the board voted to approve the calendar unanimously.
The approval was procedural: the administration presented the calendar as the same plan discussed in April and the board concluded its second-reading vote without discussion. No changes or conditions were attached to the approval.
